Kabul Radio aired a message that wanted the people to "Forsake TV, VCR, songs and music. Give up copying the ways of non-muslims, shaving off or trimming the beard, interest, gambling & other sins. Muslims can only acquire a peaceful life in the world by giving up their rebellion & disobedience to the orders of Allah (swt)".
